Darn! I wish I'd read about Gig Harbor a smidge earlier. I booked in Tacoma. Which, honestly I'm nervous about! We are in Brookdale area. 5016 116th Street East, Tacoma, WA 98446. By Canyon Road and 512. Theres a Starbucks and Albertsons super close, a few blocks away, and the house is on some land, so it seems suburban, and spread out. Are we ok in that area?

You should be fine there, that area is outside the city core and fairly peaceful, neighbors looking out for each other. Hope you can drive down towards Mt. Rainier for a day trip, or even out that direction. It’s beautiful.
