Hi,
Our family of 4 is planning a 2 day/1 night stay in Victoria BC (from Washington). Would it be best to bring our car on the ferry or leave the car in the lot at Port Angeles? I'm not sure how difficult it would be to drive/park in Victoria, but also not sure how alternative transportation from the Canadian ferry terminal into Victoria and getting around town will be.

Suggestions?

Hi 10, the ferry arrives not far at all from Downtown Vic. If your trip is going to be just city focused (there is certainly plenty to see), I'd just park in Pt Ang and boat over. If you are planning on some of the surrounding attractions (Butchart Gardens, driving out towards Sooke), better to take the car. Don't miss the Royal BC Museum, world class. https://royalbcmuseum.bc.ca/
