Hello Y'All. I am new to this site. I tried to find submarket analysis data such as office rent trends, vacancy rates, average lease lengths and amounts, etc. The regular search gives me a lot of valuable data, but the ones I want are not there. Is there a trick to getting that data? Or do I need a paid subscription somewhere else?

The premier service for that kind of thing is CoStar, which is pretty expensive. But you can get pretty reliable data from the big brokerage reports. Some of the bigger commercial real estate brokerages in this area are CBRE, Kidder Mathews, Colliers, Newmark, and JLL. I'll throw a couple links down below, but you can find these via Google.

Kidder Mathews market reports for various real estate types (download the PDF for some submarket-specific breakdowns in the office report):

CBRE's third quarter office market report (again, download the PDF):

Newmark's third quarter office report:

CoStar is NOT worth it unless you're a broker. I pay far more for it than healthcare. Gonna cancel when their contract lets me. The benefit is the ability to refine data searches to specific areas, time periods, etc.
