It is very very easy to live in Seattle without a car especially if you don't have kids

Great job in moving my thread - whoever is responsible for that. For some reason, this did not come up when I did a forum search for scooters?

Thanks : )

Interesting. Even if you live just outside the city? I am thinking I will be living on campus or very close to the university if not. I am concerned about getting into the city on a frequent basis, which I will want to do.

Oklahoma's metro transit is virtually nonexistent. I have never even rode on a city bus! I would assume though that it's something that is time consuming and unreliable if you need to be somewhere by a certain time. Am I wrong?

Which Campus? UW? That's pretty much in the city proper - it's just not Downtown, which is literally a 5 minute bus ride away

Oh, really?

Wow.
I guess I am not looking at maps with the right perspective (HA!). That's great news!
I may very well make a big life change and try life without a vehicle when I end up there. I would resort to public transportation during nasty weather anyway, so why not the rest of the time?

Wonderful!

Anyone with experience riding ebikes up the hills of Seattle? Is the $1200 or so price tag worth it?
