I used to live in San Diego. We used to see them practice all the time.

They are really awesome!

Unfortunately I had to drive into downtown Seattle from Bellevue in the middle of the day, and I have to do so again tomorrow. I enjoy seeing them, just as I did in the SF Bay Area, but they sure do screw up traffic around here.

I will be driving tomorrow, as I did today, to my "secret" spot in Meydenbauer where I watch them while I scream in delight, four days in a row, year after year....

Took and extended lunch and headed over to Leschi to watch them yesterday...one of my favorite Seattle traditions!

Just in case anyone is interested, we came back to the office and calculated that they are using 17.9 Million plastic bags worth of fuel this weekend

It's been our running joke around the office all week We now calculate all consumables in context of plastic bags...

Now, back to the Angels...if you've never taken the time to head out to watch them over Lk Wash...go this weekend...it's WELL worth it!

Gee, what can I say about the Blue Angels...

I love waking up to the sound of roaring jet engines feeling like I'm about to be bombed to kingdom come! I love it when they set off car alarms and barking dogs.

I can understand a day or maybe two but do we really need four days of these guys?!

I understand how they are entertaining, but if you work the night shift like I do the Blue Angels truly are the bane of one's existence for a short time during the summer here in Seattle.

I used to live close to Madison Park, and those things would wake me up in the morning after a night of partying. I often dreamed about installing anti-aircraft placements on my roof.
