Here in Columbia, Mo we have a magazine called Inside Columbia, which has a bunch of good information on local events and restaraunt reviews as well as other local things.

Is there anything like that for Seattle? Websites dedicated to this? Anything? I'd like to subscribe to the magazine if so, once we move. Learning a new area can take awhile.

Seattle Weekly and The Insider. Both are gritty though, and you will find advertisements for escorts and erotic shops inside. You will see breasts. BUT, if you can get past that (and the traditional MW reservedness, trust me I know, I grew up in the MW), you will find awesome recommendations for performances, restaurants, culture, etc. from big to small.

Do not trust Citysearch. If you trust it you will go away thinking Seattle is bland.
