Wooooooaaaaaaah! 4-5 hours?!? You wouldn't happen to be that person going 50 mph in the far left lane, would you? Ha!
It should take no more than 3 hours if the border crossing is manageable. The border-crossing into Canada is usually a little more fluid and faster than coming back into the US.

Unless the OP is talking about that other major city of Vancouver... the one here in the same state...

Probably not, but either Vancouver is about 3 hours away. That'd be my best guesstimate. Like DgoNative said, crossing the border into Canada is usually a lot smoother than the crossing back to the U.S.

I've done Seattle to Vancouver, Canada in as little as 2 1/2 hours , but that was with no traffic and no border problems. Vancouver, Washington is more like three hours.

Seattle to Vancouver BC, apprx. 135 miles. With a slight delay at the border, 2 and a half hours.

Seattle to Vancouver, WA apprx. 165 miles. With no traffic delays, 2 and a half hours.

The wildcard is the delays. Depending on time of day, expect traffic slowdowns from Seattle to Everett, and on the other route Seattle to south Tacoma.

4-5 hours?! I rode a 50cc Vespa from Seattle taking farm roads and old highways and made it to Vancouver in 6 hours.

Realistically, on average, with border crossing times, it should take about 2.5 - 3 hours.

On a Sunday, it should take no more than about 3 hours *if* you don't get to the border at peak time for Canadians returning home from the States (mid-afternoon to mid-evening).
