Besides that I can't type, and I can't spell.

I don't believe you hear voices in yer head, or are ignorant either, but man it don't take a whole lot to set my mind off in certain ways either.

I give, but I give skills, and or fix anyone's vehical broken on the road side for free. I have been doing that 40 years +

Yes the world has gone nuts. There is always good and bad, and I experienced both many times.

We are on the verge of a full blown depression, possibly world wide. That's just silly money. We also are the bread basket of the world and there is food shortages in many areas and i assume you know that. It isn't prices sometimes but plain no foods. The USA can not continue to borrow and still give away billions in aid, aid that almost never makes it to the intended.

In parts of Africa the shtf has happened and is in around the 70th year, which is a political number.

IMO the conditions in Africa have been bad for more than 4,000 years.

And I agree Bingo. To fix the problem we need to start here in the USA.

I don't agree with just kids. Kids have that nasty habit of becoming adults.

In these time adults and kids have and are falling on hard times, and many many more are going to. Probably me. I don't care a whitt about me, as i have another life style anyway, but people who never saw this coming will pay some hard, for their thinking 'It can't happen here.'

It has happened here, and it is going to happen here, and when it comes down it will make the last time look like a block party.

The last time the Govt had funding to bail things out with programs like the CCC, and I don't think the Govt will have that luxury this time.

We have to suffer one more year before anyone can even start, and if a next leader is as clueless as the current, we are doomed.

The solution as i see it is to cut back, stop taxes, and let the people have jobs. Many fedral programs should be canned, stopped dead. no more mincy entitlements, no more welfare for life. The govt needs to cut down on staff and aids too, and congress needs term limits. The BATFE and other federal orgs need to go away.
One can argue that Bush era tax cuts are an entitlement.

Paying taxes or paying less taxes is not entitlement. There should be no taxes, other than a limited few. These days everything is taxed and we pay taxes on taxes.
If the rich paid no taxes at all, probably everyine would have jobs.

When you take the point of of earning a living, just to pay taxes, there is little point to earning money. I work at earning as little money as possible, since all I end up with is taxes, and govt fees.

I buy very little, and mostly make what I want. Most of my earnings go to taxes, fees and insurance which is taxes and fees.

I agree about the taxes. Most of my friends think of taxes as the amount of money deducted from their paychecks!

I have a extreme dislike for property taxes. In the post-Katrina boom, I saw people on fixed incomes lose their homes. The taxing authorities re-appraised homes based on current values and raised taxes. My own taxes doubled in 3 years. Which is why we are moving once I retire. Here we refer to it as voting with our feet.

The one thing I want from any government is the one thing I won't get - to be left alone.

So, I will prepare for the worst that can happen. If it doesn't, I will still be sitting pretty.

It's tax to py a fee of 500 dollars for a kid to have a road side lemonaid stand, where the kid might earn 125 bucks over a short summer. I have a friend that suffered that Govt intrusion.

The way it is the Govt will be taxing air pretty soon. They already tax the view. We all pay a tax to just be. The fees were somewhat reasonable for some things, but now these fee's are getting way out of hand.

Hunters once promoted the idea of a Govt Fee for hunting and fishing, and the Govt just took that ball and have gone nuts! It's nice there are so many F&G officers and thay they get full time use of the vehicals and toys I guess IF you are a F&G officer. Man those boys got great toys I can only dream about, and it appears very nice homes to.

Gone are the days of any volunteer lic fees, which were realistic. Thats just one example.

The Govt is like the fat tatto lady at the Fryburg Fair, all wasted spending.

Today I believe the price of gold is $1911.00

I think most of us can agree that the dollar, and the US economy, is not in good shape.

You quoted HW from 08/08/11, and sure enough in that time the economy is dropping like a rock in a lake, very near the bottom.

All the rules we once lived by are about to change. Maybe that's what Obama ment, and we will get change, we just won't like it.

I would check the H&H for silver but it is too depressing.

I profited much better when silver was 5 to 6.50 per troy ounce, making things of it, people could wear. That market is lost to me now.
