Not sure where to post this, but figured shopping forum works - I don't have children so not really sure. We're going to a First Birthday party this weekend for twins (one of each). I would assume get two gifts, not sure of their sizes so I was thinking some kind of toy/book/etc.? - I miss when you could buy paper savings bonds. Any thoughts? I hate to go the same old gift card route but if I must.......
I now get a simple low cost gift ever since I saw they have more fun playing with the packaging material than the gift itself. The last twins I got them a joint musical play thing for the room (they are in the same room) and I got each a brand new $100 dollar bill for their parents to spend on them as they see fit. Honestly, I'm not convinced the babies really understand or care about anything but what can go in their mouth so I stay away from trying to guess what they need and leave that to their parents.
I'm going to just go to Babies 'r Us or Toys 'R Us (they are near each other), and see what grabs my eye I guess - Fisher-Price or something. Thanks though.
