I went against my better judgement and bought a decent pair of sandals online. I had gone to 3 brick and mortar stores and none had what I was looking for. I wanted some closed toe sandals and found some from Dr. Scholls. Recently the heel straps have ripped out after owning for 3 months. I was hoping to exchange them somewhere but shoes.com only exchanges unworn stuff for 60 days.

I know $60 isn't a big sum of money but I'm upset that I thought a good quality sandal got damaged in a couple months (of course not worn every day). What are my choices, I don't see stores around that carry the model...

Maybe you should try and contact Dr. Scholls direct?

Many manufacturers stand behind their product.

You could also describe your dilemma on their Facebook. I noticed most everyone reacts very fast to negative comments posted publicly on FB

Good luck!

AS recommended above try Dr Scholls directly, otherwise go to a shoe repair shop.

Thanks. I called them, got a claim form and sent my sandals in. Hope they send me a new pair...but it may take 4 weeks.

Good deal! At least they try to fix that problem.

Update...this morning I got an email that they credited the amount of purchase back to my visa account. But I didn't get reimbursed for the shipping of the shoes. Oh well.
