Compressed toilet paper formed into a tablet. When the tablet comes in contact with water, it turns into a wet cloth that you can use to wipe down after a long hike, as toilet paper, start a fire, etc.
Crazy no? But I think it's pretty handy!
Frankly, I never heard about it, but having few tablets with you could solve many problems. And now you can stash your TP in your medicine cabinet
What do you think? Anyone using it?
(There are other compressed products)
Just a bit expensive & I don't agree with his math.
One TP roll has about 250 sheets. Let's say you need 5 sheets for #2. That's 50 uses.
100 tabs are $12. That's equivalent of just two rolls.
Thx for the post. This looks like something that would be handy when running low on TP or PT.
It's nothing that I would use daily for #2, because you can't flush these. But nice to have in an emergency.
I would keep some in the car. Actually, they would be handy at work too, because half the bathrooms I go into at work are out of toilet paper or paper towels at any given time.
It's a novel item for sure. But I wouldn't buy it for myself. I'm super cheap. I would just take some kleenex and stash them in my purse. Or even better, just take about 40 sheets from a toilet paper roll and stash it away to wherever I'm going. But if other people like them, and want to spend extra money for something they might like, well I'm not complaining.
remind me of the disposable paper plates which you can eat.
or if you want to conserve,do like the Roman soldier,a bottle of vinegar,a wooden stick
Not just a wooden stick
But a stick with a sponge attached
I read a SciFi novel recently with several modern era soldiers who were caught in time fissure and sent back into the Gladiator Era in Rome (they were at the Colosseum when transfer happened)…they were forced to become gladiators….and some of the story was about getting used to the nature of Roman sanitation…
And they showed this piece of Roman culture in “Rome” the HBO series…too
