Just bought slippers Uggs. I'd sent 2 others back, which is a pain. They were a little more than I expected, but they fit nice so whatever.

I was sick of looking like a schlep in my ratty ponytail so I thought getting an inexpensive "curly bun" hair extension would make me look a little more presentable when I go out in public. It gets too hot down here in FL to wear it long, especially in the summertime.

I got two--one blonde/brown and one brown. The brown color at this stage looks more natural though both look OK. It's just fake hair on a ponytail elastic but boy does it make a difference! I'll be getting my hair done at the end of the month (finally!) so the blonde streaks will be back! Although I will be getting a few inches taken off I will leave enough to make a ponytail. I will probably never have short hair again (i.e. above the chin). My hair is too fine and straight to carry it off.

My personal philosophy is that short hair makes you look younger when you are young and makes you look older when you're old. Attached are two pictures of Lori Allen from "Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta" The second photo is her new look which is much improved.

It's possible to have short hair that doesn't make you look older. Lori just had a very aging short style. She could have had a different edgier style that didn't make her look so matronly. Now she looks like a generic news anchor.

My shirts arrived a day early. The ribbed sleeveless design and button up style looks & feels great. Gonna be hot tomorrow so definitely look forward to trying them out.
