Is there a way to weed out international retailers when ordering off Amazon? I really don't want to order things and then later on when I get the shipping info, I see that it's coming from (anyplace non-USA). Is there a way to find out BEFORE actually ordering the item? Seller names on Amazon as we know are any kind of made-up name the person wants to say.
Items just take way too long to arrive and I have the most trouble with things coming internationally.
If it's "Fulfilled by Amazon" that means it's coming out of an Amazon facility. On those, it usually will indicate a expected delivery date. If the date is "expected" weeks away, it means Amazon has not yet received the items into their distribution center(s) but the items are in shipment to Amazon. Just look at the delivery availability as a guide. Available for next day or 2 day delivery pretty much means its on the shelf at Amazon. Just stay away from direct from vendor and you'll have no surprise delivery issues.

I agree that using Prime, it will come the next day, so it has to be fulfilled locally.
I also think, not completely sure about this, that you can click on the Seller's blue link and send a message to them ahead of time. Ask them where they are located. I have heard of this being done before placing an order with someone new.
Thanks so far guys. I won't pay $100/yr for Prime, so if anything has to do with that, then it's a no go for me.
You don't have to pay for prime to see if it's "prime". My understanding is if it's labeled Prime it would come from the USA. Paying for prime just makes the shipping free and faster.

OK, thanks for clarifying!
