I love flannel sheets in the winter. My current set is getting worn out, has pilling, the pattern is fading. I was looking at the MyPillow website and a set is $65 with Promo Code.
Have you bought flannel sheets from this company? What was your experience in terms of wear, pilling and fading? They sell colors I haven't seen elsewhere so I am tempted.
BTW:
Low-cost Egyptian cotton sheets are most likely fake, and once manufactured, there's no way to prove authenticity.
In fact, in early 2017, the Cotton Egypt association got so tired of the practice, they used a new DNA test to test products from New York stores and discovered 90% of the Egyptian cotton products they tested, didn't contain any Egyptian cotton.
US retailers Wal-Mart and Target stopped selling Indian-made Egyptian cotton products after they couldn't guarantee authenticity, and Wal-Mart, Target and Bed Bath & Beyond are now facing a class action suit. (Walmart sells MyPillow bedsheets).
I didn't see this symbol on any of their "Egyptian cotton" sheets. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/24...g?v=1509396264
What to watch for:
True flannel is napped on both sides; if it’s napped on just one side, like most of the budget sets I’ve tested, it’s a flannelette.

I have had (and think I still have) the one or two pair I didn't give away - flannel sheets (too hot for me). I know some like to sleep in warm/snuggly- sorry I can't help you that you actually want them.
My Pillow has terrible consumer complaints and BBB ratings. I'd go elsewhere.
The BBB's issue was the BOGO deals that were left in place permanently by MyPillow. That violated the BBB's policy. MyPillow has since changed to other types of discounts.
That said, I like their pillows but have never tried the sheets or towels. I like that they are made in USA.

I like my pillows from MyPillow. I don't care where cotton comes from! It's a shame that some people have to politicize everything these days. Cancel Culture.
My current and previous flannel sheets were from Bed Bath and Beyond and they pilled and got rough very quickly. I liked the pattern though. I stopped shopping there because their 'coupons' basically worked out to be the same price as other stores. They just jacked up their prices so it looked like you were getting a bargain. CVS does the same, which is why I stopped shopping there, too.
Vt Country Store probably has better quality but their prices are always higher and I don't like their prints.
The search continues!
