I have been using above keychain for a few years and I like it.
It is heavy duty and it can last many many years except clip (above the cloth). In stead of buying a new one every 2-3 years (because of clip broken), is there a way to buy similar clip only? If so, I can buy quite a few clips.
The length of clip: about 2"
Width of cloth: about 0.75"
Color of clip: black (of course, I need a black clip to match current keychain.
Questions:
1) Where can I buy Key-Bak clip only?
2) Any other clip is fine, as long as it is black and no shorter than 2".
3) If there is clip with more than 2" (e.g. 2.5" or 3"), it may be better. Currently, I can hide some portion of split ring inside trouser pocket, so that it won't make noise when I am walking. If the clip is slightly longer, it will be better, so that I can hide whole split ring inside trouser pocket.

Thanks.
Glad to see this. Our work badges are on this type of retractor. In our case, the retractors are flimsy and I have one come apart about every 2-3 months. I might order one of these. Similar clips can be bought at Home Depot or many locksmith shops.

If you buy it for badge only, don't a different model. The brand comes with multiple models, mine is for heavy duties and it works for many keys. In my opinion, you can buy a much less heavy duty one for badge, therefore you don't need to use too force to pull your badge. Heavy duty one requires a little bit more force to extend it.

My badge often hangs up on something. I try to keep it partly in a pocket when not using it, but it invariably hangs up on something. When I pull it, I hold the cord, not the badge. Pulling force would not be an issue for me.
