Maxwell House is on sale this week. I'm checking their containers. If they haven't changed yet I'm buying 20-30 containers.

The last couple of bags of 8 o'clock beans seemed to be weaker to me. Same quantity in the bag, but it seems like i need to use more coffee to achieve the strength that i'm accustomed to.
No..In fact, 8 O' Clock has now become my favorite brew at home brand, next to Dunkin.

You haven't seen anything yet.

Just wait until the effect of the rise in the minimum wage hike gets worked into the price. If it costs more to produce, the buyer pays the price. Larger paychecks can't just be pulled out of thin air.

What I hate is the "new Improved" with less in the bottle/box. To me, that's really trying to cover up the price increase. I stopped buying a certain dish detergent because their "new, easy to hold" bottle, while being the same height and same measurement across the bottom actually held two ounces less because the sides had been tapered in to make it smaller and easier to grip.

Lisa,
I feel your pain, but in the big picture of things it is not new. Ask Mike what dimension lumber like 2X of any size or plywood thickness used to be.

Oh, the house is looking soooo good. Keep up the good work.

Do you use the Colombian Bean?

I've heard that it's a good alternative to Dunkin', but i personally don't care for it. I usually go with a blend of Original with Dark or French Roast.

Ah yes, because we all know that man can turn water into wine.

It's going to take more than just one person to fix things, but they will get fixed eventually. Meanwhile we all sure have to pay an arm and a leg for everything it seems.

Thank you. I know what you're saying. Everything has gone up. We have to buy a new car soon and I'm scared.

I am currently drinking the Columbian blend and it's fantastic. Normally I prefer the French or original roasts, but this blend surprised me as it is not my first choice.

Cars are actually cheap, as long as you don't want something hot\trendy like hybrids. (You can get great gas mileage without going hybrid for a WHOLE lot less money).

MAJOR slow down in car sales the past 6mos-year. I bought a car 6 weeks ago for about 20% off MSRP. Some types you can do even better than that.
