If anyone has lived in that area, I would like to know if it's a good area for a single woman and senior who is very active and enjoys outside activities. Is the heat prevent enjoying activities, and how humid is it there? A friend mentioned that it is less humid there than where I live now which is Tennessee and I find the summer months here are tough. And how is the health care there? Thank you for any advice you have..

You probably want to post on the Texas Forum; however, I live in Texas and might be able to offer a little insight. By little I mean very little, I have never visited Fredricksburg; however, it attacks thousands of tourists every year. I have a very good friend who says when he retired that he intends to move there.

I know that isn't mud but its the best I have.

I am curious. What do they attack the tourists with? We get a lot of tourists up here and I would like to attack some of them.
