Greetings- We are planning a move from Ohio to South Dakota and are reading up and getting prepared. Are there any areas in Sioux Falls that are at high flood risk? We saw that there was quite bad flooding in March 2019 in Sioux Falls. Did that impact a lot of residential areas across Sioux Falls, or just a few areas in particular? Would really appreciate your feedback!

The web is an amazing place. There are websites that provide flood maps. Linked to one from the city below. A local realtor could probably provide recommendations where to avoid as well. Check with insurance companies that offer flood insurance in the area.
