If they play Drogba...that other game he rode the bench for way too long....I know they paid dearly for Torres so they want to play him...but Drogba is still such a powerful force IMO...

Yeah it`s a sticky conundrum for the team to be in. Play your expensive new signing with the hope that he finds his form, while sacrificing your most lethal and consistent player`s play time. I`m siding with the Drogba crowd on this one, if it ain`t broke, don`t fix it!
And I am fairly sure of one thing, Chelsea's new signing Mata will turn out to be the best signing of this transfer window. Blistering pace, great skill, deadly finisher, all in all a superb player and I think he is going to flourish and he is still young so hasn't even reached his peak, it is actually scary to think how good he can be!
True, Juan Mata is one hell of a player. I've been following him in Valencia (my favourite Spanish team) and he will be sourly missed there (although the 27 million euro Valencia received in return might ease the pain a bit ).

Yes, they need the money badly: a couple of years ago, they had over half a billion euros of debt . Selling the likes of David Villa, David Silva, Juan Mata and many more, they're managing to reduce this debt bit by bit.
In the meantime, the constructing of their new stadium, Nou Mestalla, has been stopped because of the financial crisis. But in Vincente Llorente, they've found a good president that knows how to handle the **** Los Che have been in...
I think the team can do without Drogba, Terry, and Torres. Time to get rebuild the team.
