Was only an Argie 11 all-time, only Argies and probably it could be coached by HH, but before going to il calcio.

Well , sorry but if u ask about Argie players, u should know that our best generation of players was in the 40's, when La Maquina played total football in a team in which Pedernera, Labruna, Losteau , Moreno and a young Alfredo Di Stefano played; probably there is the main difference between Brazil and Argentina, while the best Brazilian generation gave to Brazil 3 WC (58,62,70),there weren’t any WC in the 40’s or in WC 50 and WC54 we weren’t invited to take part of them, or is like Menotti says, Brazil used to produced in the 60’s the kind of players that we had in the 40’s.

We began to be a power house in the late 20’s, not surprisingly we played the 1st WC's final and at least 4 Argies (Attilio Demaria, Enrique Guaita, Luis Monti, Raimundo Orsi) were World Champions with Italy in WC34, and still many people in Argentina consider Moreno (1935-1961) like the best Argie all-time ; we were a power house some decades before El Maracanazo, and we respect every of our legends without making any distinction, sorry but that is the Argie way, if u wanna have a different answer u should ask to a non-argie.

[quote=boycee;29428955]Maradonna is famous because he robbed us with his hand at a world cup .
But seriously one of the greatest to ever play.

There is an anecdote about his second goal in that game, some years before, more specifically in 1980, Diego made the same 'rush' for goal at Wembley in a friendly against England, but had shot wide rather than go around goalkeeper Ray Clemence. His brother had called him after that game to say he should have rounded the keeper. So Maradona was merely putting his brother's advice into practice.

This is the link in YouTube for the resume of the match played in 1980

and this is his 2nd goal against England in WC 86
