I don't think Real Madrid and Barcelona are ruining football to be honest.
Propped up by government banks, buying up any and all players, ruining the competitive field in Spain, dirty transfer dealings complete with tapping up players, artificially driving up transfer prices (along with the likes of PSG, Monaco, Che$ki, Man City, etc) ... I wouldn't say that they are ruining the sport, but they are certainly damaging it.
Horrible fans who still think they are a big 4 club in England, ugly soccer for most of the last two decades, the mugsmashers are some of the absolute worst fans anywhere, awful city, did I mention the terrible fans ...

Have you ever been to Liverpool? Ugly football? We play some of the best football in the league. How are the fans some of the worst fans? Better than Utd fans. Better than a lot of fans. Known for being passionate and singing songs and creating an atmosphere.

Your fans sing disgraceful songs about the Munich Air disaster and others, but then freak out if anyone brings up Hillsborough. You live three to four decades in the past, thinking yourself a big club. Blackburn have won more Premiership titles than you. A big club doesn't take 20 years to win the league. You think you are better than you are. Ugly soccer? Maybe not super recently, but for most of the past couple decades hell yeah.
As for the city, it is crap compared to most of England, and filled with crime. The Detroit of England
Not at all, I love life, and am an optimistic, cheerful guy. I left a high paying job in oil and gas to work in non-profits and leave the world a better place. I love my life. I just call things like I see them, and Liverpool fans overall are scum. Hypocritical scum at that. I am not a Man U fan - in fact being an Arsenal supporter, I quite dislike Man U. But the way that they are constantly subjected to low class songs about the Munich disaster and other such things, but the Mugsmashers ('Pool fans) cry foul if anyone says anything about their disgraceful moments is a joke. And there is a reason that there are jokes about the crime in Liverpool. It IS the Detroit of England.
