Good! Argentina did not deserve to win the Cup.

This officially puts an end to the trend of European teams not winning on American soil.

Good win for Germany!!!!!

First half was better than the second, nerves kicked in IMHO. Kinda feel for Argentina but they paid the price for being dire in attack in the second half and beyond. They did look knackered. Great world cup

Spain, France, Belarus, Georgia. Tougher group than any other in these Quals in any association. Whatever. The suggested 'the best in the world' should do a bit better than this. Ok, a couple of free-kick goals, nothing else.

Maybe he is not the best in the world but the crappiest? C'mon get real. He is one of the best players in the world. Not everybody can win the World Cup.

Argentina still made it to the finals, that proves something.

Ridiculous that Messi wins the golden ball though. There were better players in this tournament. But I expected nothing else.
