Lol Spain is a joke.. Barcelona and Madrid get like 80% of the TV money revenue, and Madrid is bankrolled by the government.. it is a bit ridiculous, surely they will face sanctions
No way they will face sanctions. Look at Man City and Chelski, they where told the rules dont apply to them. Also Barca, remember they cant buy anybody then a few brown envelopes show up and all that is forgotten about.
European soccer is flawed by its design. There will never be a level playing field financially so that means the same small group of teams will continue to dominate by and large. There's no way Norwich City could ever generate as much revenue as Chelsea, or Manchester United (or come close), which means they will never be able to bring in top talent and thus compete every season for the league title and a Champions League spot. When a team can simply go out and buy a player to fill any need they have during the January and Summer transfer windows, things turn into a joke from a competitive standpoint.
Maybe there has to be buying and selling clubs in those leagues. I mean if everybody threw money all over the place to get players it would give the financial guys heart attacks in dealing with the possible outcomes. Could affect salaries, bonuses etc etc.
The World Cup kicks off this summer in Brazil, and I'm just curious on who you guys think will take the cup home; or will it stay where it is?
I have Brazil winning, because they are at home, and they have a nice, young squad.
As for USA, I'm sorry to say, but we're not going anywhere in that group. (Ghana, Germany, & Portugal.)
Now we all know who is the winner, but sometime predictions go wrong and just opposite happens on our expectation.
