There have been some Saudis who have had some ability, but they don't tend to flourish outside of the Saudi league, nor do Saudi teams fare well in the World Cup when they make it.

Either one of these persian players, Ali Karimi, Karim Bagheri or Ali Daei in their prime would have eaten him up. I've seen him play and I"m not that impressed. Of the players above, only Ali Daei, former captain of Iran National Team, had a successful European career (in Germany).

I think it's funny that you've posted these lame clips on here for us to decide whether he's the next coming of Zidane or not!

Here's a little something on Ali Karimi who did not have much success in europe.
