Here ya go...

MSA's

Charleston- 32,832
Greenville/Anderson/Mauldin- 18,741
Myrtle Beach/Conway/North Myrtle Beach- 17,820
Columbia- 17,147
Hilton Head/Bluffton/Beaufort- 6,872
Sumter-596
Florence- 521

CSA's

Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson- 22,923
Columbia-Orangeburg-Newberry- 16,190
Myrtle Beach-Conway-NC-SC- 17,851
Charleston- 32,832

According to the Census Bureau, 2010-2012 estimate.

I asked why Charleston is growing so incredibly fast and I got some answers from a few people on Citydata that said that its "just Charleston's time". Boeing, stable economy and post Hugo, Charleston has been on its way up from there.

There's only 1 major reason why Charleston suddenly grew by a larger margin and that is Boeing. Their growth spurt will slow down now.

I just recently read an article about Boeings future expansion with plans to add 2,000 workers. Could this mean it wont slow down and only continue then? Boeing is growing like crazy.

2000 jobs on top of 6000 jobs, with their spouses and children tagging along, won't lead to as big of a burst in and of themselves. It will depend on the spin-off effects and whether this year's good news in the industry is "next" year's bad news. But that's only the Boeing effect. Other things might make the MSA continue to grow fast. Any MSA that's growing at a healthy pace in general could see a big burst related to new investment.

Take a cruise through the Charleston sub forum and look at all the people fleeing the north, and while some are coming for Boeing, they tend to be a small fraction of the total.
