Didn't they just decide to spend 100 million on another sports complex a few weeks ago?

That is one helluva upgrade. $63 million in renovations and additions. With that money, they could build a completely brand new arena.

Iam4USC: From what I remember, they did do some renovations to LJ several years ago.

Clemson games will be in Greenville next year which will be fun. They should make the permanent home court in Greenville because they would have more fans at the games especially during the week.

I think it'd certainly help with attendance. I can understand driving however much the extra time is to Clemson to see a football game, but to drive that extra time to see a basketball game in Clemson is a tough draw...

The average attendance of men's home basketball games at Clemson is roughly equal to the average attendance of the Drive and the Road Warriors combined. Once the novelty wore off, I doubt playing in Greenville would help attendance at all, and I think it's a very bad idea to make it difficult for students to attend the games.

Are you suggesting that students attend games now in any meaningful numbers?

I'm a Tennessee fan, but I'm looking forward to some Clemson games in Greenville next year. Wish they had the Vols on the schedule.
