My husband & I are planning to move to South Carolina in 3-5 years. I'm 26yrs old he is 29yrs old & our daughter is 8yrs old. We currently live in an apartment in Long Island NY but want to buy our first house in South Carolina bc my mother recently moved there. I am Italian, Puerto Rican,& Philippino. My husband is half black half white & our daughter is a big mix. With that being said we want to make sure there is no racism wherever we decide to move. But we also don't want to move into a bad area either. Our budget for a 3-4 bedroom home is $130,000. We are also looking for an area with great public school rating(rating 7-10) an area that is close to shopping, christian church's, restaurants, and parks. Can someone who has grown up or lived in South Carolina for a long time please give me some advice on where to relocate?
