For quality medical care, great restaurants and accessible shopping Lake Wylie might be a good choice. You could get a nice home on the waterfront in that price range.

Default Lake Greenwood

We have several nice high dollar gated communties on this lake some with golf courses. Outstanding doctors and hospital. Greenwood is growing very fast with new stores coming in every month. We are about 45 minutes to a hr. from Greenville. You can own waterfront here with your own boat ramp and pier.

I was unsuccessful at locating pictures of homes at Anchorage or Lakesore, but I will keep trying. Take care.
That is the only thing we kick ourselves about...when it came time to buy in Tega Cay...we bought an interior home vs. water But on the upside we can have the boat in the water (mind you)...in less than 10 minutes.

I am just getting ready to head out the door right now...but I will PM you later with some info that might be of some help to you.

How far north can you travel by boat in Lake Wylie before a dam or low water stops you?

Thank you.
