DSL service (Westminster: live, moving to, office)

WE are planning on moving to Westminster SC and are having a problem locating a company that provides DSL service to this area. Anyone know of a company that provides this service?

Cannot answer your question but good luck on your move and locating DSL service. We drove through Westminster last week and it looks like a nice, clean, quiet, small town.

There's a new service that says in their advertsing that if you have a view of the southern sky you can get internet service. I cannot think of the name of that service; perhaps a search will help.
On second thought it might be a satellite service.
Also, if you're having difficulty getting internet service, you might want to be sure that you can access the cable of your choice. Enjoy SC!

Hughes Net is the name of the satellite service I wrote about in the earlier post.

Satelite internet is not a very reliable service and is not really comparable to DSL or cable. It is also MUCH more expensive. I think you will find that almost every telephone company in SC offeres DSL, as long as you don't live way out from the switching office. Also, I'm sure Charter cable offeres cable modem in Westminister.
