I am currently living in SC and writing a report for my night-classes about child-killer Susan Smith. I plan on going up to Union and I am wondering if anyone might know her former address. I know she resided on Toney Road but I don't know which house number.

I suggest looking at past news reports. The article mentioning her arrest should list an address. If this is not available online via a thorough Google search, then a decent-sized library should be able to help you.
She's currently housed at Leath Correctional Institute in Greenwood SC. I doubt you could get any information to or from her personally but maybe you could ask a prison official for a comment for your report. Just a thought.
I realize this is an old thread and off-topic but did any of you see that she is appealing for a new trial now? I didn't see the news report but I can only imagine that it is because the Sheriff, and perhaps others, involved in her case just got busted on corruption charges. She should be thankful she didn't get the death penalty and just do her time.

Yes she is seeking a new trial ... here is the article from the Union Daily Times:
She was transferred to the facility in Greenwood after having sexual relations with two of the prison guards in Columbia ... both guards lost their jobs. Not to long ago she was looking for Pen Pals who are "not judgmental."
She lucked out with her life sentence, she needs to just leave it alone, she may not be as fortunate if she is granted a new trial.
