What are some of your local hotspots? You know, places that only locals seem to know about and tourists are rare. In Rapid City it's probably Armadillo's Ice Cream Parlor, The Vegan Rock Climbing Park, and Skyline Drive.

In Palm Coast, it's probably Bruster's Ice Cream. This happens to be just about 1 block from my house, which is both good and very bad at the same time! ;-)

I was trying to think of a "hot spot" for Sioux Falls, and the ice cream that was mentioned made me think of something in SF... B & G Milkyway.
The locals flock there on hot summer nights for ice cream. It's not stagnant either... a new location opened up on the SW side of town.
That and Covell Lake in the summer. In the winter, the hills at Spellerberg Park is always used for sledding, as well as the really big hill off 49th Street next to I-29.

Lewis Drug is a classic SF business... I have one just a few blocks from me, and they have anything I would ever need in a pinch. It's been around forever .
Another local favorite is the $3 movie theaters in the Western Mall.

Is Camille's a hotspot in Sioux Falls? It always looks so busy.

ahh, Nick's Gyros... The one place in SF where you can get a gyro! So good too!

I've never been to Camille's actually... One of the places that I've always wanted to go to, but never did

Well, in Mitchell Zesto used to be a big thing. But since McDonald's, Burger King, Culvers, etc came along, things have changed. I've been racking my brain trying to think of one spot in particular, but alas~that's all I can come up with.

Yeah I love driving skyline. I really like Pauly's Gyro's. I was never a huge fans of Philly's Ted's. I forget the name, but its a small Italian restaurant on Canyon Lake Blvd.

I think you're referring to Piesano's Pacchia on Canyon Lake Drive. I really like Pauly's too. The new one in Rapid Valley is really fancy too. They must be doing good too because that's their 3rd store.
