uh

It went up probably due to the Russians being like a bunch of naughty kids who are acting up and and need a firm reprimand.

here in Texas we have a grocery store that also has gas pumps, "kroger" and for every $100 you accumulate in groceries you get .10 of a gallon. the current price today was
$3.38 so I was able to fill up at $3.28 per gal. not to bad for what it has been but still way to high, I think.

Just got back from Las Vegas where gas was $3.49 for premium. Got back to Rapid City and it's $3.99.

Wow, did you tell us your were going to Vegas cause if you did, I'd forgotten.

Did you win big?

How were the prices of other things in comparison to here? I know their housing is extremely expensive, but what about the rest of the stuff?

I think that's how much regular was when I left at the end of July.

Sorry, I didn't even put a coin in a slot. I'm only 19 so I didn't get to gamble. A buddy of mine won about $300 playing blackjack though! I just went to some clubs, ate really good food, laid by an amazing pool, and did some great shopping. It was a blast! My flight and hotel for Monday through Friday was only $190. It's so cheap to fly out of Rapid City it's unbelievable.

Gas was cheaper, but restaurants were a lot more expensive (especially on The Strip), and taxes are higher. I think their sales tax is something like 8% and then they add a live entertainment tax of 2% if it's food from a resort. Clothes were pretty expensive too, but Las Vegas has mostly high end stores so it's expected. Some stores were WAYYY too rich for my blood. Whitney Houston had a store shut down to the public because she wanted to do some "private shopping".

I also wanted to see Cher at Caesar's Palace but tickets were about $100!

I drove through Sioux Falls and Tea a few hours ago. Gas was selling for $3.39 per gallon for super unleaded. Regular was $3.59 at one place and $3.49 for another. I have heard that Elk Point was dirt cheap for gas ($3.39 for gas when $3.49 in Sioux Falls). I remembered this being the case earlier this year when I went a couple times to Des Moines.

When I went to Omaha a few weeks ago, I remember the newer Kum N Go in Elk Point being really cheap.

Regular is still $3.65 per gallon in central Wisconsin. That's down from $3.69 last week, but the wholesale spot price on the commodities exchange has creeped up a little in the past week and 1/2. That tropical storm that is approaching Cuba is expected to become a doozy of a hurricane and should enter the Gulf of Mexico. If it begins to threaten the oil rigs in the Gulf, prices will probably pop up again.
uh
