Not too hungry today. Had some sandwiches for lunch. Fixed breakfast for dinner. Had homemade sausage patties, cream gravy, toast, fruit.

Dumplings, RJ? That's exactly what I'm having for lunch today. I love them with canned peaches.

Jammie, I love it when canned peaches are in season.

Wouldn't that be something like a peach cobbler?

I just finished a plate of baked chicken, baked onions, & baked potatoes. I do the onion and chicken in a baking bag with some onion soup mix for flavor. Damn, but it is good.

That sounds like one of my campfire recipes! Yum! What a great fall recipe - you can change it up with some winter squash and sweet potatoes, too! (Of course, then I don't use the onions - honey or brown sugar glaze!)

I found the last package of dried beef, from the Tulare Locker, in the freezer, yesterday. Lunch is creamed chipped beef, on toast.
