With today's launch out of Vandenberg (and the now almost-routine 1st stage recovery by soft-landing it on a robotic barge off the California coast), SpaceX is up to 12 successful launches in 2017 - beating not just any US aerospace competitor, but also the entire country of Russia. Not too shabby.

And I'm sorry, but this will never not be cool - re-entry and landing action starts at 3:10 or so:
