Self Explanatory...I think retiring the Shuttle early is a HUGE mistake; mainly because we will be totally dependant on Russia and Soyuz to access the International Space Station.

I will leave that upto the experst that get paid to make those decisions .

No, we should not let our space program be totatly dependent on foriegn countries.

he did answer the question. And I agree we should not stop the shuttle flights until after the constellation program is operational. It is unwise to let our space program continue under the need of other governments vehicles.

Yeah; I'll concede that....just implied we were not intelligent enough to form an opinion....so he gave snippy answer and got one back. you gave an informed answer without any comedy. also a yes or no or I do not feel qualified would have sufficed... I thought the science forum was more adult orientated without the brow beating egos.
