Self Explanatory...I think retiring the Shuttle early is a HUGE mistake; mainly because we will be totally dependant on Russia and Soyuz to access the International Space Station.
You spelled foreign wrong....former President Bush mandated the shuttle program be phased out by 2010......I don't make space policy I just report on it...troll somewhere else or answer the question...or is it too complicated...don't insult your intelligence....you must have some as evidenced by your other science post.... he did answer the question. And I agree we should not stop the shuttle flights until after the constellation program is operational. It is unwise to let our space program continue under the need of other governments vehicles.
