I'm the mother of an 8 yr old girl with some specific educational problems she has severe fine motor skill delay. she can't write or read among other difficulties, and it's very frustrating for her. I live in PR and the services here are very difficult to get you have to run all over the island to get everything and to get some kind of help with anything you have to pay a lot no help from the public school system. I'm planning to move to florida to find better servicesand education for her. but i need help I don't know if all the school have this services, if there are better counties than others for this. can anyone help?? please I really need it.

I don't know about Florida schools, but I do know that children in the US are covered under IDEA if they have a disability. Schools are required to provide services for a student's special needs.

The other poster was right -- IDEA requires that schools provide services for special needs students. You don't need to search all over to find a school. I'd look first for an area you like. I'd be glad to answer any other specific questions you have.
