An Alabama boy who was born without a nose and had gained a legion of online supporters with his smiles and fist bumps died on Saturday, three months after celebrating his second birthday.
While sad, it appeared that he brought a lot of joy and enjoyed the time he had on earth. I just hope children like this continue to have whatever time they have without it being taken away by someone else who would judge the value of a life of another individual.
this is the sadness that can affect a family and the pleasures as well. I am pro life but I do see reasons for abortion. I say this because several years ago our granddaughter who I will add is pro life and very religious was faced with aborting or giving birth to a child with no nose and a brain developing outside its head. With lots of praying she did abort. she and her husband didn't think it would benefit anyone, including her toddler daughter to continue the pregnancy, plus the doctors pretty much assured her, the baby would not survive after birth. I have always respected her decision but I also respect the decision of those who choose to continue their pregnancies knowing the child will only survive for so long.
