I keep reading how hard it is to find a job in Spokane, and that outsiders don't get many job offers.
My question, is this statement about higher paying jobs or lower paying jobs as well. Can I easily find mini wage job, fast food, store clerk?
And since your here, the winters, I keep reading people's comments of how cold it is, but at the same time I see the low temps only being quoted at 20 degrees. Does Spokane often get below 20 degrees in the winter?

I dunno about the lower-wage jobs but, while living in Coeur d'Alene in 2012, I applied and then drove over to Spokane for a Respiratory/DME job. I brought my resume and references and the guy looked at me like I was right out of Roswell and said "get back over to CDA and apply over there."
The same job was being offered in CDA. Politics, different personnel they wanted in that position, whatever it might have been, but I felt beyond slighted by this center Manager. Barely able to give the guy my name! All...righty...then.
Neither position in ID or WA was obtained.
