I don't know who/what exactly is to blame.

But who in their feverish, sick, deranged mind decided to build massive homeless housing projects in city downtown?

Of all the ideas in the world if you look at the stupidity scale of 1 - 100, this shatters it and goes beyond horizon and into another galactic.

We used to have 10-20 temporary homeless on intersections that were easy to Ignore. Now we have permanent hundreds of zombies defecating, shooting up, littering, loitering, twerking, tweaking on every single street, all day every day... The whole downtown became a freak show and ceaspool of truly epic proportions.

How extraordinary stupid is our government? Does anyone there have a single working brain cell?

They spent all this time and effort rejuvenating downtown and then literally diarrhea-ed all over it by building massive housing projects on every goddamn street.

Incomprehensible. Simply incomprehensible.

Well, why don't you elaborate? There is hardly any posting on this forum. I live at the other end of the state, I haven't been to Spokane in a long time but it was nice, especially downtown. I'm afraid I know rhe answer, but what is happening?

It was very nice. Just a few years ago it was still nice. Last few did a flip and turned into a complete ghetto.

Swarms of homeless, every street, every corner, all day long, garbage and filth everywhere.

Downtown is very small and there's no way to spread out the walking disease. The concentrations are extremely high.

They built these massive 5 story complexes all over downtown and filled them up with what looks like hundreds if not thousands of homeless... and they have nothing better to do then just zombiewalk from one complex to another or clump on random streets.

Its probably even worse than Seattle crisis because Spokane downtown is so small.

Spokane keeps having elections and the voters keep voting in the same politicians so I assume that the people of Spokane like what their politicians are doing.

Although, there is some vote manipulating. There used to be three county districts, 2 conservative and one ultra-liberal, and they split the ultra liberal into more districts, thus more votes on the county counsel, and left the conservative districts the same.

I want to know more about the 5 story complexes you speak of.

No opinion on Spokane except to note in the Region it is often referred to as "Spokan't" because they never seem to get anything done that they want to get done. They just can't.
