Not sure if this is the right forum...but what the heck! I've snorkeled for years, but recently started hyperventilating, esp. if I get any water in the mouth piece. I just sort of freak out.

My idea to "cure" this is to continue to snorkel, but go slowly and stay in shallow water till my mind returns.

Any other ideas?
