You don't have to be humble when you're the best.

Ali had panache. Not everyone can pull it off.

Considering the grief Bolt got in that interview I don't blame him for crowing a bit. But it does get tiresome. Hopefully he'll settle down a bit.

If he said that then he isn't the first to have something go to his head.

Bolt is only as dominant as he is because he's way taller than the other sprinters and takes a few fewer steps. We haven't seen yet what will happen when high school/college track coaches start regularly letting tall guys who have a good kick after getting out of the blocks sprint. I assume that those other guys will run about as fast as Bolt can, but it will probably take another Olympic cycle or two before those guys will have had the proper development.

Precisely. Anyone who is offended by this is pathetic and needs a tissue.

Sure, there are loads of tall world class sprinters just waiting to be discovered!

Did you not notice the 6'4 Ryan Bailey who ran anchor for the US in the 4x1? Very good up and coming sprinter, but was completely outclassed by Bolt on that final leg and in the 100m Final where he did not even medal despite running a personal best of 9.88. Any other theories professor?
