Gordon Gee, Ohio State president, takes shots at Notre Dame and Catholics - ESPN

This should go over well, maybe his next joke will be about Jews.

I am Catholic and found it mildly amusing, why is everyone so uptight ?
Anyway, with a name like Gorden Gee surely he has to have a sense of humor ? Some Americans may have to Google what we refer to as a Gee in Ireland/UK

According to Wikipedia and a few other online sites, Gordon Gee was voted by Time Magazine as "The best college president in the country." And also a couple of those sites say that Ohio State has spent tens of thousands of dollars for, of all things, bow ties for him. Lovely.

This certainly isn't the first time that he's had a brain cramp. He's had other episodes of open mouth, insert foot in his career.

As far as his humor is concerned, maybe he should use one of British comic Monty Python's one liners, like this one: "What a putrid pile of parrot droppings." That to me fits Gee like a glove.

ADD>>> On USA Today's home page, Coach Rick Pitino nailed it! He referred Gordon Gee as " a pompous ass."

Yea, pretty much sizes him up all right!

You can't say the stuff he said and still keep your job.
