Been wanting to buy a pair of binoculars for general use in sports and outdoor activities however there is a bewildering array of choices and prices, anyone got some recommendations on what to look for?
to get an idea of my main focus out my front window is the entire Dorval international airport and a 4 track mainline leading in and out of Montreal. looks like this =http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g1...pskfzccj2t.jpg
I'm surprised the article didn't mention any Nikon binoculars. I've had the Nikon Action 7x35 binoculars for about 15 years. The are about $125. They get excellent reviews on Amazon. They give a very bright and sharp image of the subject. Only downside is they flatten the background somewhat. Very good for birds or sporting events or concerts.
