The International Olympic Committee are burying their heads in the sand by stating the games will go ahead. The smartest thing they can do is announce now that the games have been postponed for a year subject to a review in March next year.

The only way the games can pay for themselves is with ticket sales, with many countries having closed borders, international visitor number will be down, and some teams may not attend as well. The only sensible approach is to postpone for at least a year.

They really are not postponeable. Odds are they will be entirely canceled if they do not hold it in July as scheduled. They will look like idiots if they cancel this because my hunch is this will only have sporadic cases worldwide by July

Olympics were being held way too frequently anyways, that isn't what the original organizers wanted. Every twenty years of so of sports nobody would be watching should be enough.
