Anyone here a geocacher? I don't go out for day long geocaching trips right now because I don't have the time, but if there is anyone here who lives in Springfield that'd like to go out for 2-3 hours to and and find geocaches in the area, that'd be awesome! Send me a message!

Shadow Caver would, but, alas, he is not in Springfield. Sorry, I don't know of anyone in the area who pursues this particular activity. You have come to the right place, though. If anyone does, you will find them here.

Lol, don't feel dumb! I get asked that all the time. Check out Geocaching - The Official Global GPS Cache Hunt Site
To put it in the easiest terms, it's like a treasure hunt with a GPS. Geocachers around the world hide containers and post the coordinates (longitude and latitude) online of where they hide their containers, so that other geocachers can plase the coordinates into their GPS to go find them. Once you've found them, you long them online. It's a lot of fun. If you are in the Springfield area and interested in trying it out, let me know and we can set up a time to go find a couple in Springfield.
