It's very easy- if you can recognize a yield sign or a begin divided highway sign you'll be just fine I'm not terribly certain I could pass the written test if you gave it to me now!

Default Welcome NV Crazy

Welcome to the area NVC. While we are from the Bay Area (Pleasanton) of California, we lived in Las Vegas NV for 5 years before moving about 25 miles south of Springfield. LOVE it out here.

Drivers license are a piece of cake..we did ours last month. Birth Certificate or passport, old drivers license, and eye test (vision and road signs) you give 'em a few bucks and your done.

Registering your car is only slighter more...inspection certificate (no smog except up nearer St. Louis), your current registration, valid vehicle insurance "card" from a company licensed to insure in MO, and a personal property tax waiver. We have done 3 of our cars so far....easy easy easy compared to CA or NV.

Sounds easy enough. We got the news this morning that it may be sometime in mid-April before we get there. Really down around here tonight. Still excited about coming, just don't want to have to wait..lol
