Does anyone have suggestions about web sites where I can search for pet friendly rentals in the St. George area? We may be moving there this fall and I'd like to know what my options are with a dog and cats...any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much!

We have recently rented a house with our 2 small dogs and 2 cats in Saint George which we found on Craigslist. It is difficult to find rentals with pets, however, they are out there. Time and patience will get you there.
Good luck to U!

A couple of dogs....o.k, but 4??? I would never rent to someone with 4 dogs. Maybe try somewhere more rural. Goodluck!

The local, traditional philosophy seems to be "5 or 8 children? OK, you're a good Mormon" (regardless of whether the not the kids have any discipline, how many bedrooms the rental house has, or whether you can be financially responsible for all of them), but if you have 3 or 4 dogs, unless they're for hunting & live outside 24/7 (in 110 degree Summers & 34 degree Winters), you've got some sort of mental disorder. Just wait until you see the old-timer %#£^&$s in their big dual-cab pickups driving down State St or St George Blvd with 2 or 3 miserable dogs unsecured in the bed of the pickup truck, looking miserable in the sun & heat while the oblivious driver barrels down the road...

Keep looking & you will find a decent place, especially if you can afford $1200 or more in rent, but keep in-mind that 4 dogs will likely violate the municipal ordinance -- not really a problem unless one or more of the dogs is vocal or causes some other reason for a neighbor to complain to police/animal control.
