Hey Everyone,

I've been living dowtown for 2 years now and really like it but I need to move out of my place because it is just too small!! Although it's a little farther down on Washington than some might like, I'm considering the Edge Lofts due to amenities/price/pet friendliness. That being said, I can't find a single review online for this place so I am wondering if anyone has lived there or has any actual experience with the place?

I am mostly worried about noise level inside the lofts and issues with the parking since it's an outside lot (break-ins etc.). And, yes, I know it's the City so you can't guarantee nothing will happen but I am talking major issues or very high occurences..

Thanks All!

Ok, no one has lived here? Maybe this is a bad sign!

I found this thread on UrbanSTL:

Urban St. Louis • View topic - Edge Loft Apartments - 2107 Lucas Avenue (http://urbanstl.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2335&hilit=edge - broken link)

Perhaps you can bump it and see if anyone has some info on it.

I don't know if this helps, but I did a tour of that building about two years ago. I found it to be a very strange reno; cavelike, a little depressing and definitely sinister. It was not one of my favorite downtown renewals. I also think this is the building that backs up to a working factory in back. In fairness, the developers may have fixed a lot of the things I found so ugly, but I don't think so. This is one of those properties you should look long and hard at before making a move.
