Hi there. I get to drive this on a daily basis on my way to work in St. Charles. I've noticed that construction appears to be continuing to push Missouri 364 further west. It seems like phase II is well underway. Is there a set timeline when Missouri 364 will be extended all the way to I-64/U.S. 40/U.S. 61? Also, what are the chances that this highway will be redesignated Interstate 364? I'm thinking the chances could be kind of slim since 370 was built virtually the same way..with mostly state funds I believe. In any case, this is a gorgeous highway. 5 lanes on each side on average, very spacious and far more interstate grade than I-64 is anywhere west of the Mississippi and Missouri.

Here is the official MODOT information on the Page Extension project (Route 364). Route 364 upgrade

They don't have an official timeline for when it will be extended all the way to hwy 40, but phase II (which is extending 364 to Mid Rivers Mall dr) is expected to be finished sometime Fall 2012.

They told us from the get go that within 20-25 years the project should be completed out to 40, and from what I've seen, that timeline appears to be holding up pretty well. It's been 8 now since the first chunk was opened. St. Chuckians sure do love that connection to West County
