Sigh...
My mom really wants to move here and it seems the only way possible is for me to become a full citizen.
Does anyone have any advice about the process? It seems pretty straight forward, but are there any hiccups I should know about ahead of time? I've lived in StL for 9 years and I've been married to an American for 10. What worries me the most is this "Have a general knowledge of the fundamentals of U.S. history and government". It's been years since I opened a history book. (If the questions are about Game of Thrones or Mad Men I would ace it!) So, is anyone currently going through the process? Any special classes you can recommend? Any reason why I shouldn't do this to bring my mom here? End of day cost?
Advice...please....

I'm pretty sure a friend of mine used to work here: Welcome to the International Institute of St. Louis. They have a free citizenship class that covers civics. Other than that, I'm not very familiar with the overall process; I do know a friend that became a US citizen in the last year and I know there was a test involved. My understanding is that it would be worth studying for.

I haven't gone for citizenship yet either. I know there are books you can buy to help you through the process which come with practice tests.

And I too would Ace a test on Mad Men! Haha ♥
